Piaggio has just released an updated, more powerful version of their excellent 50cc equivalent e-scooter, the Piaggio 1.
The new version has had a power boost to 2.2 kW – that’s almost twice the peak power of the old version (1.2 kW), which gives the lightweight scooter almost 14% extra power for accelerating whilst still falling into the moped class.
The Piaggio 1 is already a cool scooter, very similar in feel and looks to the Piaggio Zip but there are some new colours for summer 2023. It’s available in Forever Grey, Forever White and Forever Black, as well as dual colour in Sunshine Mix, Arctic Mix and Flame Mix.
Price?
The Piaggio 1 costs £2700 on the road and has enough space beneath the seat for an open faced helmet. It comes with keyless ignition and full LED lighting, as well as digital and colour instrumentation.
