Don’t shoot the messenger (I’m a traditional, die-hard Vespa rider myself) and no it isn’t April 1st. Yes, this is a new limited edition Disney-themed Vespa Primavera.
Remember, Vespa is a massive worldwide brand, they’re much bigger than our homegrown scooter scene. Their iconic Italian scooters appeal to a wide range of aspirational riders, young, old and in-between. This special edition follows on from the ‘Bunny’ 946 and Justin Beiber Primavera.
Now we’ve cleared that up, let’s tell you a bit about the Disney Mickey Mouse Edition by Vespa…
Vespa was recently immortalised in Disney and Pixar’s animation mater piece – “The Adventures of Luca.” It also happens to be the Disney 100th anniversary this year so the two big names have come together on this colourful collaboration.
Using the excellent Vespa Primavera as the base gives a choice of 50cc and 125cc scooters for the UK market (150cc is also available in some countries) which makes it a perfect first scooter for the young Disney Prince or Princess.
Mickey Mouse
The colours were deliberately chosen to represent Disney’s most famous son, Mickey Mouse. It also carries his signature on the front legshields and special edition graphics. The seat is also embossed with his name.
