BMW is the latest manufacturer to release details of its updated scooter range for 2025 with the BMW C 400 GT and C 400 X getting a Euro 5+ makeover.
The aggressive-looking C 400 X and touring-focused C 400 GT have had a facelift for 2025, with upgraded standard equipment and an additional range of accessories.
Highlights include
- Single-cylinder engine delivering 25 kW (34 hp) and 35 Nm of torque
- Featuring advanced safety technologies, including ABS Pro with Dynamic Brake Control (DBC), Dynamic Traction Control (DTC), and Engine Drag Torque Control (MSR)
- 6.5-inch TFT display offers excellent readability and functionality, allowing riders to easily access navigation, media playback, and phone calls
- More storage space, with the C 400 GT featuring a 12-litre increase in capacity and the C 400 X a 3-litre increase.
BMW 400 X
With a new more dynamically designed front end, the BMW 400 X is available in the basic Blackstorm metallic version which has a black/grey seat, black rims and brake calipers at the front. It’s also available in the new “Rugged” variant (pictured above) which comes in the Kalamata metallic matt body colour. It has red rims and graphics, off-road style tyres, and gold brake calipers. To finish it off there are a range of accessories, including a heavily tinted screen, red/black seat, stainless footboard inserts, and hand guards.

BMW 400 GT
Ground accessibility has been improved on the GT for greater comfort and improved ergonomics. Aside from the basic Blackstorm model this scooter gets a new “Exclusive” variant (pictured above). Paintwork is Diamondwhite metallic, with golden rims and graphics, a black seat with embroidered emblem in the rim colour to complement the golden brake calipers and a slightly tinted screen. Optional extras include floor lighting with a projected BMW logo and stainless steel footboard inserts. There’s also the option to upgrade the TFT screen to a larger 10.25″ with split screen and navigation.
