Dave Bristow took the Group 4 title on his Hornet Racing smallframe SS90 replica. Impressively winning 24 of the 29 races throughout the season. Second place went to last season’s Champion Graham Tatton on his Team DSC Lambretta, with Damon Yates in 3rd place.
LCGB Production Class
Jimmy McNally won every race bar one, scoring maximum points (after compulsory drops), mirroring his sister Nikita’s achievement last year and keeping the title in the family. This also secured the overall ACU British Stock Championship for Jimmy and the coveted Number 1 plate for next season.
Scott Thompson (Young Frank) was 2nd in the Championship in his first season of BSSO racing. Having started as an orange-jacketed rookie back in March and finishing the year as the only man to beat Jimmy with a race victory at Cadwell. 3rd place saw a tie on points between Jon Holt and Jeremy Steel with Jon taking the final podium position on countback of highest finishes.
ChiselSpeed Tuning (CST) sponsored all the Super Scooter Classes for 2025
CST Group 6 – Ioannis Chitoglou (John the Greek) won the Group 6 title on his Hornet Racing PK water-cooled special. John also won most of the races throughout the year whilst still maintaining impressive reliability for a highly strung smallframe. Last season’s Champion, Graham Tatton, once again had to settle for 2nd place with Team DSC teammate Drew Duncan taking 3rd in class. These three also filled the top 3 spots in the overall Super Scooter Championship.
CST Group 5
A welcome return this year was a Group 5 Championship (Specials up to 160cc) with #35 Adie Horrocks taking the crown and a third class championship for Hornet Racing. Simon Palmer came 2nd and Michael Leicester third.
CST Group 6a
In the automatics class, Mark Clipstone took the title from John Woods and his son, Ryan Clipstone.
Surprisingly, there were only three entrants in the automatic classes this year, so if you’ve got one in your shed, get it out and get back on track!
Hornet Racing always give it 100%
