Piaggio have shown one of their MP3 scooters at EICMA complete with built-in airbag in the inner legshield.
The concept is still in development but when it gets released it’ll become the first airbag-equipped scooter in the world. Honda have had airbags on their top of the range Goldwing since 2006 but it’s never become more mainstream.
