SIP Scootershop has just celebrated its 30th anniversary, in typical style, with a massive open day for 3,000 guests.
Glorious sunshine helped to make the event go with a bang, as did the dyno battle. SIP’s tech guy, Jesco set the bar high with his 84bhp Egig 400 Vespa! He wasn’t the winner though, you can find out who was in SIP’s own blog about the event.
International affair
Visitors to the event came from around the world including guests from the USA, Thailand, Canada, Bosnia, France, Denmark, Puerto Rico, Italy, the Netherlands, Belgium, England, France, Switzerland, Luxembourg and Austria.
Complete performance engines
Aside from their range of ‘Performance and Style’ parts, SIP also launched five complete engines at the open day. Built in conjunction with selected partners, the engines include a Casa Performance Lambretta BFA 325. The rest are for Vespa: SIP Evo 180 by Egig, SIP Evo 170 by Egig, SIP V-One and SIP VR-One. These special complete engine packages will be available in limited numbers and come complete with carb, exhaust etc. and are ready to bolt in.
