Tomorrow, December 1st is World AIDS Day and Vespa will host a special event at their Milan Motoplex.
In an open talk hosted by Elena Di Cioccio and Lavinia Farnese, they’ll be raising awareness about sexual education. Aimed at broaching a topic that is often neglected, especially by younger people.
Vespa and (RED)
Vespa have been collaborating with the AIDS charity (RED) for a few years and have just renewed the agreement for two years. The charity has partnerships with many iconic brands and raises funds in an aim to fight and end AIDS and global pandemics.
(RED) scooters
The partnership with Vespa started in 2016 and has given rise to a special edition (RED) Vespa 946, more recently we’ve seen the Primavera (RED) and the Vespa Elettrica (RED). Through sales, Vespa customers have helped raise over 1.5 million US Dollars for the global fund, helping the fight against AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria.
(RED) accessories
From 2024 Vespa will also be launching a range of Vespa (RED) clothing and accessories, including a hoodie, waterproof jacket (in a technical fabric) and a t-shirt – all in the characteristic (RED) colour. Accessories will include cups, water bottles and a helmet. Vespa will be donating part of the proceeds to the charity.
