Piaggio have just released the latest 2023 Vespa GTV 300 and I think you’ll admit it looks pretty sexy!
Following on from the excellent GTS RST22 we reviewed a while back, the GTV has had some key updates for 2023:

The GTV has been around in limited numbers since 2006 and is Piaggio’s nod to the past, it emulates the low headlight “Faro Basso” by having its headlight mounted on the front mudguard rather than handlebars. This gives it a distinctive look, as do the naked handlebars. For this year though they’ve de-chromed the scooter and added lashings of black detailing.
2023 style
Of course, the latest GTV also utilises the latest frame and panel work from the GTS RST22 but the detailing goes further. Instead of the chrome switchgear, the GTV gets a much more stylish matt black finish, as do the handlebars, pillion pegs rear grab rail, clocks, legshield trim, mirrors and headlight.
The scooter comes in a choice of two colours, Nero Convinto (black) and Beige Avvolgente Opaco – both with contrasting orange graphics on the front legshields and side panels.
Accessories
Dealers are still waiting for some accessories to arrive for the GTS but Piaggio have added some new items to the GTV parts list. You can order a colour-coded rear seat pod to go with the sporty single seat fitted as standard to this model. Although the seat doesn’t look like it would be good for a pillion it is approved for two (I’m not sure how far your passenger would want to go on it though).
New Vespa exhaust?
The images we’ve been sent also include a Vespa-branded exhaust, although we’ve not got any details for that yet. There’s also an orange screen available if you really want to stand out. The screens are accentuated with three stripes cut into them.
The new instrumentation also allows the Piaggio MIA system to be installed to give your scooter full mobile connectivity.
