Differences in direction
In the dealer’s letter, it cites “Differences in direction” as the reason Hanway and MotoGB have parted ways. Although we can’t confirm that’s how the split occurred. It also goes on to say that “We are filled with optimism as we look to the future, especially with the exciting expansion of “LAMBRETTA & HERO” in 2025.”
We asked Royal Alloy’s Global Manager for a comment but so far have received no response. We’ve since spoken to MotoGB and will be updating this article in due course.
The brand has been built up by MotoGB in the UK and you can’t help but notice a massive influx of Royal Alloy scooters at rallies and events. It’ll be interesting to see who replaces them.
We’ll be keeping an eye on the situation and hopefully, a new distributor will be announced soon. For any warranty issues, spares or repairs customers can still contact their Royal Alloy dealer.
Breaking news
An official announcement has gone out to UK Royal Alloy dealers to let them know that MotoGB will no longer be importing/distributing the brand. Rumours had started yesterday and we were led to believe there would be an official announcement on Friday.
