Royal Alloy’s CEO, Steve Oliver has announced that they’ve joined forces with BSA importer, Lukas Distribution Ltd as the new UK supplier for the Royal Alloy range.
After a tumultuous week for the popular brand, Royal Alloy will be sharing the stage with BSA Motorcycles from January 1st 2025. The iconic bike brand will sit alongside Royal Alloy at their Coventry base in a partnership being billed as “Mods meet the Rockers!” Lukas Distribution were formed in 2022 to distribute the BSA brand of retro bikes.

Spares by Fowlers
One thing that has really upset current Royal Alloy customers and dealers is the availability of spare parts (or not as the case may be). It’s been a common theme with brands under the MotoGB umbrella in the past. That should all be set to improve dramatically because Fowlers of Bristol have been appointed as the official parts supplier for Royal Alloy. Fowlers already looks after parts distribution for Lukas and are more well-known as the UK Piaggio parts distributor.
Of course, it’s going to take a while to get the parts system and stock all up and running but it should certainly make things much easier once it’s all sorted.
Road tests
Under MotoGB’s regime, we’ve never had access to their range for testing purposes. The only RA road test we’ve featured on ScooterLab is the Royal Alloy GP 300S Versus Vespa GTS 300 HPE head-to-head test that I did with Sticky back in 2020. We did that off our own back using a Royal Alloy borrowed from Midland Scooter Centre and Piaggio’s press fleet Vespa GTS. It’s consistently been in the top three features in terms of views.
We’re told under Lukas Distribution that we’ll have full access to the Royal Alloy range in 2025.
