Big 7 Scooter Club are urging people to book tickets for Margate to help ensure the rally is a success.
2007 was the last time the BSRA held a National Scooter Rally in Margate. In just a few weeks, Big 7 will be making a welcome return to the south coast town. After moving from their old Hop Farm venue, Big 7 went to the East of England Showground in 2023. Now they’re hosting a traditional seaside rally with a separate campsite and do (unlike their usual all-on-one site events).

To make this event work (and satisfy the local authorities) they’ve had to make Margate advance ticket-only. This poses a problem for some rallygoers who prefer to decide at the last minute whether they want to go or not.

Both the campsite and evening entertainment at Dreamland on the seafront are advance tickets only. Although Big 7 told us that ticket sales are on par with previous years, 60% of their rally revenue is usually paid on the gate and that can’t happen this year. In essence, if you’re thinking about going to Margate, the organisers would like you to buy your tickets early to give them some peace of mind.
