We showed you the first pictures of the Italjet 559 Twin from EICMA last November and we were quite excited. Forget that though, here comes the Dragster 700 Twin!
Video teaser
What do we know so far?
Italjet has based this machine (it’s more than ‘just’ a scooter) on the concept 500… that soon evolved into a 559 Twin and now it just got more capacity and power so it’s an evolution of that design.
The new 692cc liquid-cooled engine makes 68bhp and 70 Nm of torque. The machine is a hybrid mixture of bike and scooter so has six manual gears. There are also twin underseat exhausts and you can order a limited edition model from Friday 12th July!
Full power?
The Dragster 700 Twin will be available as a full-power, or restricted A2 version and the general release will be in spring/summer 2025
Limited edition
700 units will be produced as a worldwide Limited Factory Edition version, complete with black/gold paintwork, Akrapovič exhaust, Öhlins rear suspension and a steering damper, as well as exclusive Brembo calipers and a DucaBike clutch cover with transparent window.
Pre-orders can be made via the Italjet website from Friday 12th July at 3 pm UK time, until they’re either sold out or the last day of EICMA on November 10th – whichever comes first. The price? Ok, it was never going to be cheap, The Ltd edition costs €14,900 (£12587), the standard version should be around €12,900 (£10,898) when it arrives next year.
