If you’re not riding down to Woolacombe this weekend why not head over to Cadwell Park for the BSSO scooter racing season finale?
The meeting takes place on Saturday 23rd-Sunday 24th September and is bound to be action-packed as the various classes and championships get wrapped up.
Here’s a quick look at the standings…
AF Rayspeed Group 4e
Sponsored by AF Rayspeed, Group 4e has 16 riders in the championship. Justin Price, James McNally and Graham Tatton (pictured above with John the Greek in hot pursuit) make up the top three. Former SLUK rookie, Phil Hallam is in fourth.
Group 4
This class used to be the big one but has since been superseded by Group 4e. As it stands, Damon Yates, John Balcolmb and Tony Rudd are the top three (and only) contenders.
#65 Ben Readings has since lost his novice vest and leads #50, Phil Hallam in the Stock Championship
LCGB Production Class
Stalwarts of the Lambretta Club may not be chuffed to hear that a Vespa will be taking the honours in the LCGB-sponsored Production Class for the first time this year. As they head to Cadwell, Hornet Racing’s John the Greek is far enough into the lead to be able to take things easy… Although we all know the only thing he slows down for is kitty litter and Armco! DTC’s Steve Wright and CST’s Nikita McNally are in second and third. Our SLUK rookie, Ben Readings is in fourth and will be finishing off his first season with a Cadwell report after this meeting.
Chiselspeed Tuning Group 6
Currently holding the #1 plate and hoping to retain it for 2024 is DSC’c Steve Wright. Teammate, Graham Tatton could upset things though and there are no team orders… In third spot is Tom Shaw from Wilkinson Racing. Andy Walker isn’t far behind though so the podium could be interesting.
Chiselspeed Tuning Group 6a
Wilkinson Racing’s Justin Price leads the auto class but Chiselspeed rider Justin Graves could take the class win if things go wrong for Mr Price. Fellow Wilkinson rider, young Ben Darling (pictured above) is sitting in third place.

Stock Championship
Justin Price is in the top spot here with 779 points, whilst second-place man, John the Greek sits on 723 and Graham Tatton on 669. James McNally is in fourth just 3 points behind Graham.
CST Super Scooters Championship
The Chiselspeed Scooters Super Scooters Championship currently looks like this: Justin Price leads with 795 points, Stephan Graves sits in second on 724 points and in third we have Steve Wright on 658 points. Grahan Tatton is fourth with 632 points.
