Yes, that’s correct – the North East’s favourite old-school Lambretta shop has gone all modern (not quite 21st Century just yet though). Anybody who has tried to order from AF Rayspeed in the past will have ended up frustrated, you’d phone up and struggle to speak to somebody, or hear the dreaded engaged tone. The alternative was to use their antiquated website to find parts… but you couldn’t actually order them online. The whole thing was a nightmare!
Help is finally at hand.

Ok, there is still a catch. Yes, you can order their fine standard or tuning parts, like their cassette clutches, Clo5e 5-speed gearboxes, RB kits or Uni casings directly from the website but the website isn’t actually set up for taking payments. Don’t let that deter you though, it’s still much less frustrating than it was. If you place your order through the site, a staff member will call you later to take the payment. It may not be quite as straightforward as a normal e-commerce store but it certainly means your order can be placed much easier. Give it a go the next time you need to treat your scooter to something nice and tell them that SLUK sent you.
