Shown at EICMA for the first time last month, Piaggio has updated three of its commuter scooters for 2025.
With new features, styling and colours plus a 310 Beverly and larger capacity Medley 200 they should prove popular.
Piaggio Beverly 310
The big-wheeled Beverly has been around for twenty years and has been a huge success for Piaggio. With a stiff twin cradle frame, Showa suspension, 16″ front wheel and 14″ rear it’s always been a scooter that handles very well and has been kept up to date in technological terms. It had its last big makeover in 2021. For 2025 the mid-capacity Beverly gets the new Piaggio 310cc Euro 5+ engine (as seen in the MP3 we tested recently and also in the Vespa GTS) you can read more about the engine here. In the Beverly, it produces more power though at 27.7bhp.
Versions
There are two versions of this scooter, Beverly with “Sophisticated, refined finishes.” That one comes in a choice of metallic Bianco Luna and Nero Cosmo. The sportier-looking Beverly S (pictured above) has a choice of four matt colours, Grigio Mercurio, Nero Meteora, Verde Jungle and Blu Zaffiro.

New Piaggio Liberty
The 2025 Piaggio Liberty has been completely redesigned. The scooter has been around for 27 years and has sold over one million units worldwide. Available as a 50cc, 125cc and 150cc (although I’m not sure that capacity will make it to the UK). The Liberty appeals to a wide range of riders, from newbies to A2 licence holders.
The redesign gives the Liberty a new identity with a horizontal LED headlight accentuating the new front end, whilst a new LCD instrument cluster includes a 5-inch colour dash with day and night modes.
Liberty’s large 16″ front wheel and 14″ rear help to increase road holding, improve handling and make the scooter easier to manoeuvre.

Version and colours
The standard version of the Liberty is available in Bianco Luna and Nero Abisso. Its rear rack, exhaust cover, and mirrors are matte black, and the wheel rims, side trims, rear light surround, indicators, and the new Liberty logo are all finished in satin black.
The Liberty S (Sport comes in a choice of four colours, Bianco Luna, Nero Meteora, Grigio Materia and Blu Ardesia. The wheels, side trims, rear light and indicator surrounds are finished in gloss black whilst certain details are picked out in glossy blue.
New Medley 200
Piaggio’s Medley now comes as a 200 and features a liquid-cooled 17.4bhp engine, complete with Piaggio’s Start&Stop tech (Riss – Regulator Inverter Start & Stop).
The Medley uses a low single cradle frame built from tubular steel and reinforced with sheet steel. The frame contributes to the scooter’s robustness whilst maintaining a low, comfortable step-thru style of scooter. Two-channel ABS comes as standard, as does Piaggio’s MIA connectivity on the ‘S’ version.
Versions and colours
Available in two versions, the Medley comes in classic colours Grigio Astrale and Nero Abisso, both combined with a black seat and interior trims.
The Medley S is available in Nero Meteroa (matte) pictured, Bianco Luna, Blu Ardesia (matte) and Oro Opaco, all with black seat and trims.
