Ho, ho ho! Apparently, Christmas is coming very soon and there are only six more postal strikes until the big day.
If you’re planning on doing some online shopping we suggest you get your fingers out because the Xmas post is likely to be slower than usual this year. LED Lambretta sign
We’ve got a customised one of these on the wall in the SLUK office and it really does look great.
The sign measures 50 x 60cm and is mounted into a 3.5cm deep black metal frame. The quality of the lettering and the black mount itself makes it an attractive piece of wall art but of course, it can also be lit up. The sign comes with a remote control with various functions and different settings for the brightness. You can also add a line of custom text below the Lambretta lettering. We had ‘ScooterLab’ on ours. These signs are made for and sold by scooterist-owned vintage and retro shop, Smithers of Stamford but you can buy them directly through SLUK (we get a commission that way). Books
It’s not ‘proper’ Christmas without getting a book or magazine in your stocking. We’ve got a good selection of reading material in our ‘Books & DVD’ section, including Sticky’s Complete Lambretta Kit Book and his Complete Spanner’s Lambretta Manual. If you prefer a less hands-on read then Scooterboys The Lost Tribe is also well recommended. ScooterNova Magazine
Every scooterist likes a decent printed magazine to read so why not get your loved one a subscription to ScooterNova? It only costs £30 for a year.
The current issue also has a free – very handy year planner.
Single copies and back issues are also available, although quite a few issues are already sold out so if you have gaps in your collection you’d better fill them whilst you still can!
