Honda’s first EV two wheeler for European customers will be released in summer 2023.
The EM1 e: is the first of Honda’s plans to launch 10 or more electric motorcycles around the world by 2025. It’s a big step towards meeting their aim of being carbon neutral for it’s entire motorcycle line-up by the 2040s.
EM stands for Electric Moped and the model is aimed directly at the younger generation who are looking for easy, fun urban transport.
The quiet and emission free scooter is designed to provide short journeys around town, to work and college etc.
The scooter is powered by the Honda Mobile Power Pack e: which is built with a focus on durability, reliability and quality. The pack is designed to withstand different temperatures, humidity levels, impacts and vibrations.
As you’d expect from the name, the Honda Mobile Power Pack is swappable and can be removed for home charging. It’ll power the EM1 e: for 40kms.
