Damsels in Distress – BSRA #2 Portrush | RALLERY

I'll hold my hands up and confess that I was a bit sceptical when I heard there was to be a National Rally held in Northern Ireland. Would enough people from the mainland make the effort to attend? Could the all-female scooter club, Damsels in Distress pull it off? Hell…

Kickstarting 2024 – BSRA #1 Whitby National Scooter Rally

Some kids grow up thinking Easter is all about the rising of Christ (or the eating of chocolate eggs) but it's not. We all know it's time to point scooters towards the seaside! Children and grandchildren of scooterists grow up wondering where their parents – or granny and grandad have…

South West Scooter Clubs present Dawlish pre-season | RALLERY

Those wonderful folk in the SWSC certainly know how to find a great venue and how to put on a great event, Dawlish proved to be another to add to that list. Since the sad demise of the excellent Teignmouth rally, which many looked forward to as the start of…

First show of the year – Burton Brewers | RALLERY

Whilst 300 Brits were busy sunning themselves in Lanzarote with VFM, around 1500 scooterists were freezing their bits off riding to, or walking around Burton. It was baltic on Saturday morning, with freezing fog making it feel even colder for much of the trip. Thankfully my early morning ride was…

BSRA #8 – Llandudno National Scooter Rally 2023 | RALLERY

Although I've enjoyed Southport as a town it’s not been perfect as a rally destination since the Floral Halls closed for renovation (it will be back though). It was a nice change to be pointing the scooter towards Wales instead for the final National of the 2023 season. Llandudno is…

Heading to Llandudno? Here’s Col’s SLUK back at this rally town | Nostalgia

I’m still sulking about being issued with an ASBO (Ageing SLUKER Behavioural Order) by Iggy in September because of my Woolacombe shenanigans. It lasts for six months so I'll be free by Easter 2024 (ha ha ha). As I'm sure you all know, it's the final National of 2023 this…
