Winning at life – more than ‘just’ scooters | EDITORIAL

The following piece was part of yesterday's 'Wrapping up 2023' story but the heartfelt sentiment behind it may have been lost amongst the bigger article. Here it is again, it's all about winning at life through the friendship and camaraderie of the scooter scene. Merry Christmas everybody. Iggy Winning at…

Wrapping up 2023 with a quick roundup | FEATURE

We're skidding quickly towards New Year already and what a year it has been. I'm sure I'm not alone in thinking that this year felt pretty 'normal' at last (or as normal as the life of a scooterist gets). We'd suffered two years of COVID-enforced lockdowns and event cancellations throughout…

In part one of my 10,000-mile Penis Tour, I took you over 4548 km through Germany, Denmark, Sweden and Finland. I also rode along the Russian border for a while, just to wave at the border guards. Then I headed towards the northernmost tip of the European mainland: Nordkapp, Norway. I…

The season finale: Ladrum Bay Scooter Rally | RALLERY

It's that time of year again. Time to head off to my last rally of the year. My target, Ladram Bay, the SWSC end-of-season scooter rally.Five of us meet and head off for a leisurely ride up to Ladram Bay (apart from twenty-five miles on the M27). We have no problems (quite…

SledgeHammer: CP’s 333cc touring engine for Lambretta | FIRST ROAD TEST

BSRA #8 – Llandudno National Scooter Rally 2023 | RALLERY

Although I've enjoyed Southport as a town it’s not been perfect as a rally destination since the Floral Halls closed for renovation (it will be back though). It was a nice change to be pointing the scooter towards Wales instead for the final National of the 2023 season. Llandudno is…
