First up, we have the BSRA dates. As usual, the National Scooter Rallies kick off at Easter (3rd-6th April) in Scarborough (tickets available now). That’s followed by Tenby on the May Day weekend (1st-4th May), then it’s up to Scotland for Kelso (22nd-24th May) before heading south for BIG 7 in Sussex (19th-21st June). July will see us in sunny Weymouth (17th-19th July).

The second half of the season kicks off with the big one at the Isle of Wight (28th-31st August), followed by Woolacombe (25th-28th September) and finally, the BSRA season finale at Llandudno (23rd-25th October).

Who are the BSRA?

The British Scooter Riders Association (BSRA) was born after the demise of the old NRC (National Runs Committee) and NSRA (National Scooter Riders Association). At the time (1997), National Scooter Rally attendance had dwindled to around 600 at some events, and it looked like the scene could die off quickly.

The BSRA was formed to rebuild things, and by the late 1990s, the rallies were booming again. The BSRA was, and still is, a collective of seasoned scooterists from various scooter clubs and associations. The aim of the BSRA is to promote a national calendar of events. Although rally dates are announced in summer for the following year (due to date clashes, etc.), the BSRA still meets at the final National of the year to make plans for the future.

New rallies?

Despite what people may think, the BSRA isn’t a closed shop. If you want to gain ‘National Rally’ status for a new event (like Portrush did for 2025), you can attend the meeting and propose it. You can find out more here.

Who are the organisers behind the 2026 BSRA calendar?
