We road tested an Aprilia SR GT 125 a while back and quite enjoyed it. At last week’s EICMA, Aprilia unveiled its larger sibling, the SR GT 400.

Here’s some details and a video walkaround from the show.

Aprilia SR GT 400 Specs

  • Chassis: The SR 400 is built on a high-strength double-cradle steel frame
  • Engine: 35.4bhp 399cc single-cylinder, 4-valve SOHC engine. It makes 37.7 Nm of torque at 5700rpm
  • Suspension: Front suspension comes courtesy of 41mm upside-down forks, whilst the rear is sprung on a pair of twin shocks with preload adjustment
  • Brakes: 300mm front disc with a 4-pot radial mount calliper, a 240mm rear disc and Bosch two-channel ABS
  • Weight: It weighs 186kg wet
  • Tyres: 120/70-16″ front, 150/70-14″ rear
  • Colours: Rugged Black, Boulder Grey, Dusty Grey, Rally Replica
