Coming to the UK in October, and available to order now, this limited edition Casa Lambretta X300 special edition. Worldwide, there will be 999 of these Casa Lambretta special edition models available.
They’re already on sale in scooter-mad Thailand, and the UK is set to receive just 36 of them, so don’t hesitate if you’re interested in owning one.
Casa Lambretta X300 Special Edition key features:
• Exterior: The scooter features a carbon fibre Aero-kit designed by Casa Performance, including a windscreen, spoiler and suspension arm covers
• Design: The two-tone colour scheme with a mix of premium matt and gloss finishes is complemented by handcrafted-like details, embossed logos, and custom badging. The scooter’s distinctive look is completed with “Heritage iconic racer” colours and stripes, along with a “Legendary identity decal”
• Tyres: The Special Edition comes equipped with high-performance Pirelli Angel scooter tyres, ensuring superior handling and grip.
Commemorative gift box
Each bike is certified by Casa Lambretta owner Mr Vittorio Tessera, with a unique “47” number plate and certified card, commemorating the year 1947, when the original Lambrettas first rolled off the production lines. Also included is an exclusive gift box set, including a T-shirt, hat, key ring, badges, stickers, drinks bottle and much more.
House of Lambretta
According to the press release, “As the ‘House of Lambretta’ and the official racing and tuning arm for the brand’s original machines, Casa Lambretta is seen by scooter enthusiasts in the same light as AMG is to Mercedes. This collaboration marks a significant moment, officially bridging the brand’s fabled past with its modern future and delivering a sought after machine for collector and fans.”
The paintwork on the scooter comes straight from the Casa Lambretta/Casa Performance Racing Team and features the signature of Casa Lambretta owner, Vittorio Tessera, who certifies each machine.
Monocoque frame
Lambretta aficionados will find it amusing that the new Lambretta utilises a semi-monocoque steel frame (like its bitter rival, Vespa). The X300S are powered by a 24.8bhp, 275cc engine and are equipped with Bosch-developed fuel injection.
The scooter also features ABS, twin rear shocks, keyless ignition and a full-colour TFT screen. There’s also enough space beneath the seat for some luggage, as well as the rear carrier.
Price and availability
The Special Edition retails at £5,999, whilst the standard Lambretta X300 is also available in three versions: the SR and GP (both at £4,899), which differ in colour and trim options. The GT version, priced at £4,999, adds a screen and luggage rack. All Lambretta scooters come with a two-year, unlimited mileage warranty.
