Keis G901 heated motorcycle glove.

If today was your first day back at work and you were on two wheels it would have been a shock to the system, brrrr! Heated riding gear is what you need.

Keis are market leaders in heated clothing and their latest product is the G901 Extreme heated gloves – their most advanced gloves yet.

They’re designed to look, feel and perform like a sports touring glove rather than a bulky winter glove. This gives you increased flexibility and control.

Goatskin

The G901’s range-topping spec starts with their construction from soft and supple goatskin leather. It’s thinner, softer and more supple than cowhide. This gives greater feedback and feel through the hands, as well as being highly abrasion-resistant. They’re tested to the latest CE safety standard for gloves and have KP-1 protectors over the knuckles. The protectors are separate to the gloves, to allow greater movement and flexibility but with extra reinforcement over the fingers.

Waterproof

The G901s are waterproof and breathable, thanks to a bonded Hipora™ membrane. The inners also feature a generous 3M Thinsulate™ layer of insulation, which retains warmth without adding bulk.

Easy fit

The gloves are designed to fit either under, or over a jacket cuff – whatever your particular preference and are easy to pull on thanks to a loop located inside the cuff.

Heating

The main thing you’ll all be interested in though, is the heated feature of these gloves. Keis’ proven Micro Carbon Fibre heating panels with Far InfraRed Radiation heat-generating technology is what is going to keep your hands warm. A new heating element layout runs not only over the back of the hands but also around the fingertips and between the fingers to deliver warmth to just where it’s needed. The control button has also been relocated to make it even easier to operate with the opposite hand.

Dual-powered

The G901 gloves are dual-powered so they can be connected directly to your scooter’s 12v battery (if it has one), or by using the optional lithium polymer battery which slots into a zipped pocket on the cuff of each glove. The optional 12v 2000 mAH batteries cost £85 and include a multinational mains charger.

Price and availability

The Keis G901 gloves come in sizes 3XS-3XL and retail at £210, like all Keis products, they’re backed by a lifetime warranty on the heating element and a two-year warranty on the gloves themselves.

New fast-charging power pack

If you already own some Keis heated clothing this new 5000mAh portable power pack will be a welcome add-on to power your heated jackets, vests and bodywarmers. Especially if you’re riding a classic scooter with no battery to hard wire into.

It weighs just 262 grams (25% lighter than the previous version) and measures 105mm long by 70mm wide and 25mm deep. The casing has rounded edges to make it less intrusive and to help riders get it in and out of the dedicated pockets on Keis garments.

LCD display

The power pack has an LCD display to show charge status and it can be charged using a standard USB-C outlet using the braided USB-C to USB-A/C cable. The Keis 5000mAh battery retails at £90.

Fast charger

For a quicker recharge, there’s an optional multi-use 30W fast charger designed especially for the new power pack (that costs £20). The fast charger can also be used to charge other devices.
