As you’re reading this for free (as well as every other story and feature we’ve published since 2016) we thought we’d introduce a couple of our new SLUK supporters. After all, they are the people who help keep ScooterLab free for you to enjoy.

Stop My Engine

Firstly we have Bike Angel, makers of StopMyEngine. They’re a British company who specialise in electronics and have developed a very effective way of stopping your scooter from being ridden without you on board. We’ll be reviewing it soon on ScooterLab and already have it fitted to a Vespa GTS and listed in our shop. If you own a modern scooter it’s something you really should take a look at. It works via Bluetooth and as soon as your scooter is out of range from your phone (about 150 yards) the engine will begin to cut out, then stop and sound the horn continuously.

Bright Competitions

You can’t miss the various raffle companies who advertise on social media, often with prizes that scooterists would love to win. In fact, I know quite a few personal friends who have won scooters (and other top prizes) for just a few quid taking part in these online raffles.

Bright Competitions are one of the leading lights in the raffle business. They’ve just joined ScooterLab as an advertiser and we’ll be showcasing their latest scooter-related prizes in their regular adverts.

Win a Lambretta

Just started this week is a tasty-looking, Lambretta Jet 200 with a Quattrini M210 engine. They also have a Royal Alloy GT125 which is a scooter that may well appeal to the younger rider or those with only a provisional licence. You can enter those competitions with as little as 99 pence.

*Remember to gamble sensibly though and never spend more than you can afford to lose.*

Other sponsors

We’d also like to thank the other advertisers who support ScooterLab, we really do appreciate you being part of what we do. Thank you.
