It may be a little wintry at the moment but that’s not going to put a dampener on this weekend’s Mammoth Scooter Parts Fair – after all, it’s under cover!
ScooterNova Magazine and the East Midlands Scooter Alliance are hosting the event and after the succcess of their first parts fair last October this one was always going to be huge.
Where is it?
The event is being held in the small market town of Melton Mowbray at ‘The Stockyard.’ It’s a covered cattle yard with an on site brewery, pub, cafe, butchers and even a barbers shop! The postcode is LE13 1JY and pedestrian access is at gate 2 off Scalford Road.
How much and when?
The event is on this Sunday (12th March), admission costs £5 and the gates open to the public at 9:30am.
Traders
You can see some of the bigger pre-booked traders on the flyer above but according to the organisers they have 70 undercover tables and 45 outdoor pitches already pre-booked. Plus they’re still receiving new enquiries. If you’re looking for new or used scooter parts you won’t be disappointed!
If you’re interested in trading yourself or want more details visit the event’s Facebook page.
SLUK Shop
As we’re an internet-based magazine and online-only shop we don’t often do a ‘physical’ stall at events (we prefer to ride there and enjoy ourselves) but we’re going to be trading at this one. We’ll be bringing some of the latest SLUK Merchandise, including a couple of unseen items. We will also be selling off some clearance items at bargain prices. We’ll also have a small selection of our SLUK Plastics, some Nankang tyres, a few JPP Lambretta parts, some KR Automation and a few other bits and pieces.
Aside from all the new stuff, we’ll have a couple of scooters for sale (a GTS 250 and a Lui) and some scooter jumble for Vespa PX, T5, GTS and for Lambretta.
Our stall can take cash, bank transfer or PayPal. No credit cards I’m afraid. We hope to see you there.
