That’s where SLUK readers can help. Richard ‘Mungo’ Munn, of Team IDK has started a Just Giving page to help raise the £7,000 needed to fund the Alpha Live coverage of this year’s two endurance meetings.

ScooterLab, ScooterNova Magazine and AME Auto have sponsored the live coverage for the last two years and will be helping again this year but if you enjoy watching scooter racing on your telly (or computer/smartphone) a few quid thrown into Mungo’s virtual helmet could help make all the difference.
The £7,000 (or however much is raised) will be used to fund the live coverage. It costs around £3500 per meeting so any shortfall will be down to the sponsors named above.
Worldwide coverage
BSEC really broke new ground when they started getting race events live-streamed back in 2021. It’s helped to get scooter sport seen by a new appreciative audience.
