SIP have just released their new PHBH carburettors to fill the gap left on shelves and (on engines) by Dell’orto’s lack of stock. We all know that two-stroke use and tuning isn’t dead just yet and we still have lots of vintage scooters to ride!
Launched under the SIP Performance label, the black effect carbs come in a choice of 28mm and 30mm, they have with a pull choke as standard (rather than flip) and have a 62mm intake which allows you to fit a large air filter, or original intake hose if you prefer.
The carbs come with a basic setting, using a 350 float needle valve in conjunction with a 50 throttle slide – but always set a carb up to match your engine. The SIP PHBH is compatible with all Dell’Orto jets and components so fine tuning won’t be an issue.
