Where it all began…
Andrea Pinasco is really the father of the home-fit tuning kit. He started tuning for fun in the 1960s, but made his name with a twin-carb conversion for the Vespa GT using a modified GS cylinder which he sold via a small advert in Motociclismo magazine.
The business then expanded from 400 kits per year in 1975 to 60,000 a year by 1981.
Andrea no longer develops for the brand but gives his blessing to current developments by the team at Bettella and often lends support on their stand at the EICMA show.
