Air-ride suspension conversions which allow for that ‘slammed look’ have migrated from the custom car world, via the chopper scene and now into scooters.
This Thai Scomadi is not the first scooter to get a pop-up air ride conversion, but it is actually a more sensible conversion than you’d think. The wide Scomadi bodywork means it isn’t as easy for shorties to get their feet down but this conversion solves that issue at the flick of a switch.
It’s also interesting that they’ve managed to get telescopic forks into a Lambretta-styled scooter with very little modification to the bodywork. I can see a few custom scooter builders taking inspiration from this.
News of this conversion comes to us via Bigscooter Shop.
