T-Handle socket set by Laser Tools | REVIEW
Blokes love tools (even some girls have a thing for them), especially a tool that will make life easier on lots of occasions. Like this T-Handle socket set from Laser Tools.
It’s costs £25.30, that’s around the price of half an hours labour in many scooter shops but if it means you can get in to those hard to reach areas without scraping your knuckles, losing sockets, swearing, hitting things with a hammer in frustration and generally coming out of the garage in a strop then it’s well worth the price.

I’ve used Laser Tools many times in the past, in fact their mini socket set is one of my most used items in the garage and it’s still going strong and looks as good as the day I had it. I have a feeling this T-Handle set will also spend most of it’s life being stuck into a poorly scooters nether regions on a regular basis.
Locking ring
The T-Handle has a blue anodised locking ring, you have to pull it towards the handle to release the socket, it’s a great idea to stop sockets being lost within the bowels of a tight orifice. It also has quite a thin shaft and the profile of the sockets is small, so hard to reach areas, like a Vespa GTS exhaust manifold are much easier to work on.
Toolbox sized
The set has most of the popular sockets you’ll use for most day-to-day scooter jobs, from changing a wheel to splitting a crankcase. Although you’ll still need a regular socket set for the heavier jobs, or if you need to apply more pressure when torquing a fastener up. Having said that most jobs up to 13mm can be handled using this set. The socket rail is handy as well, it holds the sockets firmly in place and the handle attaches to it. You can either hang it on a wall, put it in a toolbox or it’s small enough to keep on the scooter for a neat and simple on the road socket set.
It’s a great little kit, well recommended and very useful. Good value for money as well. Visit: Laser Tools for more information.
