SINN Internal disc Lambretta rear wheel | NEW COMPONENT
Frank Sanderson is currently in the process of rebranding his products to SINN which is a catchier abbreviation of Scooter Innovation.
Alongside their range of special trailing links, forks and brake components they are now planning a new tubeless wheel with internal rear disc to fit straight onto any Series-3 Lambretta casing, and hopefully the majority of the New Breed engine casings as well. So far they are keeping tight-lipped about how they plan to mount this conversion but SLUK will let you know soon.
The hub kit also includes a bolt on hydraulic master cylinder and foot brake pedal.
The new wheel was designed in conjunction with AXIMO LTD, the UK design company that produced the CAD modelling for the Scomadi scooter range.
The rear hub is soon to be followed by a matching anti dive front disk set up available in both single and double disc guises .
Both the hubs benefit from a deeper central well than the tubeless Lambretta rims already available to the market. These features allow much easier fitment of stiff, P-rated (and above) high speed tyres.
Many new and exciting products are currently being developed and will be available from www.lambrettainnovation.co.uk.
Being a SLUKer is not mutually exclusive. You can also be a SINNer…
