Scooterists relish the opportunity of making unsuitable machines do unimaginable things. Whether that’s at home, abroad or on an around the world trip. Proving to ourselves (and others) that small-wheeled, underpowered or over tuned machines can do great things and be the perfect tool for adventure. Or at least provide some entertainment when things go drastically wrong – like our ill-fated trip to Germany on ‘The Purple Bastard’ a couple of years ago.

We’d like to hear about your scooter travels and adventures. Maybe you’ve taken some time out and ridden somewhere just for the fun of it – like James Lancaster who did the Isle of Skye on a £50 budget. Or you’ve had an adventure to a Euro rally, or had a scooter holiday – we rode to Ibiza and back on Lambrettas a couple of years ago. Perhaps you’ve taken a mini-break abroad, like Jon and Ellen who did the Amalfi Coast by Vespa GTS.
If you’re really lucky you’ll have embarked on a cross-continental voyage, like Andrew Drummond who is currently riding a Vespa PX to Bali from Manchester (we’ll be catching up with him again very soon). Scooter riders often cover more distance annually than many bikers and also take part in personal challenges, like Wookie who covered 855 miles non-stop on his Vespa T5 Classic last year, riding from Prague to London in one hit – or endurance rider, Stephen Cooper who covered 2162 miles on his Kymco in just 53 hours.
