The recent BSSO end of season round was a tough one for many reasons. One of the best parts was having an opportunity to say goodbye to fellow racer James Campen who passed away in his sleep.
Besides a slide show on the Friday, the BSSO also arranged a one-lap parade of both road and race scooters in his honour.
Here’s a short video we put together of the ride. It was a fitting and emotional occasion to pay tribute to a former champion.
Several of James’ bikes were in the parade. Charlie Edmonds of Performance Tuning rode the race GP, Joe Ravenscroft rode his yellow R1 and Damon Tunnicliffe rode the Scomadi James was competing on this year.
He will be sorely missed around the paddock.
