WHAT IS AN ‘SST265 Touring’ ENGINE?
These are the best Lambretta engines ever made for Touring. If you thought your scooter was good for touring, think again. OUT OF THE BOX they have 30bhp+ and pull like a freight train from 2500 right up to 9,000rpm. And that’s with a Clubman Plus exhaust ; if you fit the optional SuperTourer exhaust, that goes right up over 40bhp!
NOTHING comes close for touring. Whether you’re riding solo, or with a passenger and a load of luggage, this motor will haul you uphill, down dale at CONSTANT speeds you never previously thought possible on a Lambretta.

Good friend of SLUK, Dave Gould took the Rimini test bike on an extended test ride from Italy to Poland for this feature, he took the scooter back and bought an SST of his own on the spot.
RLC builds EXCLUSIVE, numbered and certified complete plug ‘n’ play SST265 Touring engines. Each engine has 5-speed with all the latest Casa Performance goodies and will be ready to fit, with carb, Clubman Plus box-type exhaust, both cowlings and all electrical components. The only thing you’ll need is your rear wheel and to cable it into your scooter.

None of the usual messing around, ‘fettling’ or ‘having to get things to fit’. It fits. It works. End of. Simple.
1.You get to choose the colour of the anodised parts between blue, silver and black (let us know in the notes when you order).
2.You have the possibility to have black coloured engine casings (Black Edition).
3.You can choose to swop the standard supplied Clubman Plus box-type exhaust for an Ultra Tourer expansion chamber. Please bear in mind that we recommend that when using an Ultra Tourer exhaust, a 34mm carb must be used, as 28-30mm carbs are too small.
Shipping costs will be calculated and charged AT COST depending on the customer’s location. As an example it’s around €100 to ship an engine to the UK from Italy. Postage cost will be charged separately after the order is placed – unless you’re paying by bank transfer and get free postage.
