Piaggio have just released the UK price for their funky new e-scooter. We first revealed details of the ‘ONE’ a few weeks ago.

It’s a modern take on the popular Piaggio Zip but of course, this scooter doesn’t burn any fossil fuel. Even so, the styling is bang up to date, it’s good looking, comes in some eye-catching colours and should appeal to teenagers and more mature riders looking for day-to-day transport.

How much and when?

Prices start at just £2500, making it a great entry-level e-scooter bursting with aggressive looks and Italian style. Looking at the details, that front mudguard and fork cover looks the business, as does the rear swinging arm. We’ve not seen ONE in the flesh yet so don’t know if that’s alloy or just a dummy cover but it looks the part. The scooter also boasts a full-colour dash, keyless ignition and LED lighting.

Options?

Like the Zip, this scooter should attract teenagers like bees around honey and I can imagine once there are a few of these on the roads there will be some tasty custom parts available.

The base price of £2500 will get you a moped equivalent ONE, the price will go up if you opt for higher-spec, longer-range batteries, or the higher-powered version. We’ll bring more news on arrival dates and other options as we get them.
