Pinasco Endurance Racing Today
The decision to re-enter the world of scooter endurance racing has been a wise one for Pinasco. 24-hours flat-out on a circuit is more abuse than most scooter riders will give their Vespa in a year, so it is the ideal testing ground for new products.
Pinasco’s most successful entry so far was at Scootentole’s endurance race at Magny Cours in France 2013 where Pinasco secured first place in the large frame class.
In 2015 they entered two machines and ended up with 2nd place overall with their large frame Vespa and 3rd overall with their smallframe.
Hardest of the lot however is the Spanish 24-hour race at Zuera which has humbled many famous teams with mechanical problems in the final hours. Only in Zuera will you hear of scooters completely wearing through one set of tyres until they burst.

What we could do with is more pressure applied to tyre manufactures to produce P rated tyres in 300 x 10 & 350 x 10 and also some dual compound tyres in these sizes I know they do some P rated tyres but not as yet a dual compound tyre in these sizes.

They look really promising.
Not tried yet but have fitted these to a customers tubless rims waiting on report of them, but they don’t say they are a dual compound like the Michelin Pure’s.
