VIDEO | Sticky shows how it works at EICMA

 

Pinasco have just released the updated version 2.0 of their PX 200 crankcases (first shown at EICMA in November – see video above) complete with their new clutch side oil seal retaining solution. It solves the problem of oil seals failing and dropping into the crankcases on high-power motors. 

 

The new system uses a Pinasco specific oil seal to sandwich the bearing into a flange in the casing (fitted from the clutch side), three steel retaining plates are used to lock the seal into place.
