Although the Vespa GTS is a great long-distance machine its passenger ergonomoics have never been particularly good. The standard GTS grab rail is quite low and the flip-out footpegs are hard to reach for shorter passengers and not brilliant for taller pillions either. SIP has addressed both problems.
Their new Bambini grab rail comes in chrome and costs £55. It simply replaces the original grab rail and has two raised hand-sized handles, making your passenger feel instantly more secure. SIP already make extended footpegs. They’re not cheap at £129 but if you’ve ever been on the back of GTS with them fitted you’ll know just how much more comfortable the ride is.
