Lancastrian multi-brand distributor, MotoGB will be showcasing the new Italjet Dragster on their stand at Motorcycle Live this weekend. The well-established company were in talks with Italjet at EICMA in Milan last week and were already looking like the best option for UK distribution. Italjet CEO, Massimo Tartarini will be flying over for the show.
It was announced at the end of last week that the eagerly anticipated sports scooter would be shown at the NEC giving Italjet fans, both old and new a chance to see up close this exciting new machine. MotoGB have confirmed the Italjet will be part of their stand, although it’s not been formally announced that they’ve been appointed as UK distributor yet. We speculate that’s a mere formality and they’re already listing the brand on their website.
The Chorley based company already supply Sym, Lambretta, Royal Alloy, Keeway, Hanway, Mondial, Royal Enfield and Benelli. Aside from supplying around 300 dealers nationwide MotoGB also runs a chain of 11 motorcycle shops across the country. This means they’re well placed to make sure Italjet will be available in a shop near you if you live in the UK.
The Italjet Dragster will be built in Italy using many Italian/European components from big names such as Brembo, Bitubo, NISA Seats and Domino. This means you’re buying what should be a quality scooter, rather than a disposable one. It also means the price will re3flect the sum of its components and its country of origin. The UK prices are below…
125cc on the road £5099
200c on the road £5299
SLUK already make parts for the original Italjet Dragster and will be on the ball with the new one
