May 2016 SLUK-Sena Prism video comp winner | NEWS
May’s competition winner
Well we had a strong set of video entries in May including offerings from Norway and the South Downs but this month’s clear winner, by audience approval especially, is Eden Bakewell’s public health warning experiment about the dangers of drinking and riding.
All this goes to show that you don’t need to be Cecil B Demille in terms of expensive subjects or flashy editing in order to win. It’s more important to have diamond content and little is more popular than someone making a complete arse of themselves and preferably falling over. You only have to look at the popularity of Fail compilations on Youtube to know what tickles the public’s funny bone.
That doesn’t mean that we’ve turned into You’ve Been Framed because we still want to see nicely shot and editied video, but content remains king.
A £200 Sena Prism helmet cam will be winging its way to Eden which leaves a chance for all you that haven’t won yet to have another crack as we carry the competition on through June. Full details are here.
We’ve still got more cameras to give away so if you’ve not entered yet, or haven’t won keep trying. We’ll be giving one Sena Prism and accessories worth £200 away for the rest of the summer.
Entering is easy, all you have to do is edit some footage down to around 90-seconds. Place our image at the beginning and send it in. Full details on how to enter can be found here: Sena Prism comp

I’m lost for words 🙂 thanks a bunch, I can now link my Sena headset to the camera and you can all hear more of my foul language 🙂
Thanks again, much appreciated!

I wish I could take part in the competition, but as it requires a video camera, or at least a smartphone, to make a film in the first place, it’s just Catch 22 for me.

You don’t even have a digital camera that does video? Sense of humour more important than camera/editing quality.
