London & Birmingham ULEZ canned over Corona | NEWS
There’s one good bit of news to come out of the current pandemic, Sadiq Khan has instructed Transport for London to suspend all congestion charging and Ultra Low Emission Zones (ULEZ) until the corona outbreak is under control.
The move is to enable key workers and NHS Volunteer Responders to be able to travel around the city without being penalised or facing financial hardship. The move is not to encourage unnecessary journeys though. Stay home. Don’t travel. Save lives is the message.
Also, in Birmingham, the planned introduction of their own ‘Clean Air Zone’ in August has been postponed by the city council until an unspecified date in 2021.
Two wheels are good
As we all know, the riding of bikes and scooters is a perfect way to travel, it’s much less stressful, there are no worries about congestion and we cause less pollution than most other forms of motorised transport. Plus we’re able to self isolate inside our own crash helmets.

Once I discovered two wheel’s I never looked back quick and easy to get around yes you have to dress u a bit but it’s fun and easy to park and cheap if your on a scooter 125cc or above, esp the underseat storage for shopping.
