Never, ever become complacent. Even if your scooter is in a million pieces being worked on at home. This turquoise and white Lambretta Series 2 was stolen earlier this month from Croydon. The owner, Pete, was in the process of rebuilding the engine when the scooter went missing from his house between Tuesday 12th-Thursday 14th of September. It was stolen without the engine and seat.
The scooter is a 1961 series 2, white frame, legshields and mudguard, turquoise panels and horn cover, all parts are powder coated. It also has a stainless long range fuel tank and electronic loom, regulator and CDI. The panels are all new and the bike was in excellent condition. Sadly this bike was purchased with some inheritance the owner had left to him from his mother who passed away a few years back, correspondingly it was of great personal value to him beyond the monetary. We’re just waiting for the frame number but will add it later.
If anyone in the London, surrey or surrounding areas gets a whiff of a Series 2 which matches any part of this description please contact the following email@example.com
Let’s please try and stop the scum, or at least make it harder for them to shift stolen scooters and parts.
