Lambretta CasaCase pricing announced | COMPONENT NEWS
As exclusively revealed by SLUK yesterday, the Lambretta Casing Wars continue apace. More on that this week.
Today’s news is the finalised price of the CasaCase which is in production and being machined in batches of 20 casings. Soon there will be 150 casings available throughout the Casa Performance dealer network.
The published price for the CasaCase is around £715 including VAT. This price includes:
- Rear shock pin.
- Brake backplate.
- Brake bearing retaining plate.
Despite showing the CasaCover side casing yesterday, the CasaCase engines can use conventional Lambretta clutches and side casings. The only other essentials required for the engine build are a mag housing, flywheel cover and a special Casa crankshaft. The crankshaft is essential because it is wider in the webs to prevent traditional problems with twisting and to improve engine balance.
Balanced race crankshafts will be available in 5 different strokes from 58mm to 66mm priced @ 495 Euros + VAT. These can be supplied with either 110mm or 120mm long con-rods depending on cylinder kit choice.
“You will be able to buy all the specific CasaCase parts needed for an engine build for less than €1,900 (£1,500)” explained Dean Orton. “This is for a complete CasaCase, with crank, backplate, flywheel flange, flywheel cover, all unique fixings etc. Everything that is not standard Lambretta compatible.”
He also revealed that the new Casa Performance catalogue will be formally launched at the forthcoming EuroLambretta event in Germany where everyone will get a copy in their goody bag. A little bit more weight to carry home, just what we need 🙂

Am assuming the top end wouldn’t be included in the £1900.00 price ?
@
Sorry that’s 1900 Euros, and no, not inc top end.
@
It’s price competitve with the Super Misano case, but it lacks an ignition which Tino’s case includes. So many choices! Time to start saving, the SIL case in my street racer is showing some wear and tear.

he conrod feature a 16mm or 18mm wrist pin?
@
Gawds, I hate this Windows machine! I meant to say, Does the conrod feature a 16mm or 18mm wrist pin?
@
Hi Kevin. We checked, there is an 18mm pin option in 120mm and with the new 3mm roller bearing from Gran Turismo that means you could also fit pistons with 16mm pins.
