Keis update heated bodywarmer for ladies | NEWS
Without a doubt, my one favourite piece of riding kit is my heated vest. You can forget your heated grips, muffs and lap covers. A heated vest/bodywarmer is like immersing yourself in a hot bath. It’ll make any cold weather, or winter ride pleasurable.
I have a men’s Keis heated jacket but the firm has just updated their ladies bodywarmer to pander to the female motorcyclist/scooter girls every whim.
The B501W ladies bodywarmer uses the latest Micro Carbon Fibre heat technology to make the garment lightweight and less bulky. It has MCF panels at the front and rear, as well as the neck to produce infra-red heat to the core and give extra comfort to your neck.
The garment is tailored for a snug and flattering fit, with stretch panels running the full length of each side. The softshell is also lightweight and breathable so it can be worn as a layer even if you don’t need the heat turned on. It’s a dual-power garment so can be hard-wired into the scooter (it draws only 1.2 amps of power), or can be powered by an optional rechargeable battery pack. The bodywarmer can also be connected to Keis heated gloves, trousers and insoles if you really need that Ready Brek glow.
Price and availability
The B510W comes in sizes XXS-XXXL (UK 6-20) and retails for £155, battery packs start at £49 and the optional (but neccesary) 3-heat setting heavy duty controller costs £35. More info on the full Keis range here.
