Honda’s New Vision completes their 2021 ‘Magnificient Eight’ | NEWS
Honda has revamped their popular Vision 110 for 2021 to complete a lineup of eight new, or refreshed A1 class machines. Sales of smaller capacity bikes and scooters have rocketed since public transport suddenly became much less appealing in March 2020.
That’s good news for us scooter fans because it means manufacturers will be trying harder to please us, so expect a bigger shift towards learner legal and commuter-focussed machines in the coming year.
The updated ‘New Vision 110’ joins the Honda Forza 125, PCX125, SH125, SH Mode, MSX125 Grom, CB125R and CB125F in Honda’s A1 licence category. The old Vision name was resurrected in 2012 and has evolved over the years to become a great entry-level Honda commuter machine. The latest 2021 model loses 2kg’s of lard thanks to the new ‘enhanced Smart Architecture Frame’ (eSAF) so the nimble scooter now weighs in at just 100kg.
The engine has been upgraded to Euro5 specs and now uses the latest air-cooled version of the ‘enhanced Smart Power’ (eSP) engine, which is 5% more efficient and also comes with Idling Stop tech. Refreshed styling, new LCD instruments and the addition of a Honda Smart Key finish off this winter makeover and bring it up to date with the latest models.
Available in a choice of Pearl Jasmine White, Poseidon Black Metallic, Mat Galaxy Black Metallic and Candy Noble Red, the New Vision 110 will be in your local Honda dealership soon.
