Goodyear e-Go electric scooters | MODERN NEWS
Tyre giant, Goodyear announced plans to enter the urban mobility sector earlier this week. The company plan to launch two electric scooters in September 2016.
The scooters, named the e-Go1 and e-Go2 will be sold through existing car and bike dealers. They feature lithium-ion batteries that can be charged easily at home, are said to be capable of a claimed 60-mile range and a top speed of 28mph.
The e-Go1 is a light-weight stand up vehicle that can be folded up, whilst the e-Go2 is a more conventional seated scooter, albeit in a futuristic fashion. It’s robust, has a special shock absorption system for comfort and twin front wheels for added stability.
Recommended retail prices are £2350 for the e-Go1 and £3600 for the e-Go2. The eco friendly, zero emission scooters will be congestion and parking charge free.
