If you’re lucky enough to find yourself in Brussels between now and August 15th make sure you head to the Autoworld Museum for the Vespa 75th Anniversary exhibition. Housed in the city’s swanky Palais Mondial building you’ll find 75 Vespa models made in various parts of the world since production began in 1946.
Belgium has over 5,000 Vespa riders registered with around 60 official Vespa clubs so it has a large catchment area of Vespa fans. The city is also (usually) easy to get to from the UK and other parts of mainland Europe.

Visitors to the exhibition can feast their eyes on models produced not only in Pontedera but also rarer models manufactured in other European countries like Belgium, France, Germany, Britain and Spain. Exhibits also include APE three-wheelers, cars, sidecars, variations of the much-loved and missed PX, the PK and of course the latest models like the Elettrica, 946 and 75th Anniversary GTS.
